The traditional GREAT BIG WET ONE meal consists of fish, water, rakı, beer, and salads.  Large quanities of fish and various beverages are consumed to commemorate the wet nature of the  GREAT BIG WET ONE.  Salad is also consumed in great quanities because it is said that a salad was the primary catalyst that caused the GREAT BIG WET ONE in the first place.  The Istanbul Congregation of the church of The Only True God was lucky to have a new member, Al, to welcome at this year's festival.
